Ashley saw me pondering the menu, asked if I had any questions, then pampered me by making a dairy free pie. Every other downtown pizza place tells me to move on, no matter how much I offer to tip. Ashley never even cared about money, she just cared about what i wanted. AMAZING FOOD AND EVEN BETTER SERVICE!

I used to come here on weekends after leaving the club and going today brought back fond memories. The pizza is still as good as I remember, the service was great and no complaints about the price of the special!
Taste just like the Brooklyn pizza we used to eat when we lived there. Thanks for a great experience!

I went into this place hyped since my close brothers prasied this place as the pizza place in downtown. And honestly, they weren't wrong, cus wooo weee it was good, especially the lasagna pizza (sooooo much cheese). And honestly, the vibe of the place felt like classical setting with the mixture of more modern perspectives. Like drawing on the wall and being 2 floors. Fitting the city settings, definitely worth the price for how big the pizzas were.

got a slice of meat lovers pizza and a garlic knot. my friend got a beef patty.

the pizza crust had 0 flavor and the pizza itself fell apart in a strange way.

the garlic knot was over-kneaded so it was spongy and dense.

the beef patty filling was good but the shell was entirely too hard.

overall, everything was stale and lacked flavor. but the service was quick and friendly! also the place has plenty of seating upstairs.

Ordered late night Valentine’s Day for work. 3 large pizzas (Pepperoni, Cheese, Hawaiian) they made them heart shaped. Had to wait an extra 15 minutes since someone cut a slice out of one of them which doesn’t make sense as to why someone working there would if you see it’s a special order. Cheese and Pepperoni were good, the Hawaiian one was a little dry, didn’t know they don’t put tomato sauce on their Hawaiian. The bread knots were really good tho. Service is good too, typical laidback NY style pizzeria.

Gitto’s Pizzeria in downtown Orlando has been a go-to spot for years and is often mentioned as one of the better pizza options in Florida. What keeps it interesting, though, is how the atmosphere continues to evolve while staying true to its roots.

At its core, this is classic New York–style grab-and-go pizza. You order by choosing slices through the glass, with plenty of options that go beyond traditional toppings—standouts like chicken bacon ranch and buffalo-style slices are clearly crowd favorites.

The atmosphere is where Gitto’s really shines. From the outside, it looks like a simple hole-in-the-wall, but once inside, there’s more personality and energy than you’d expect. The complimentary garlic knots were an unexpected and appreciated bonus.

The dough is flavorful and familiar—exactly what you want from a NYC-style slice. I ordered the chicken bacon ranch, and it delivered: not overly sauced (which is key, since ranch can easily overpower), perfectly cooked bacon, and solid chicken that didn’t taste frozen or pre-made.

Pizza is subjective, and this is just my experience—but it’s important to judge Gitto’s for what it is. This is New York grab-and-go pizza, not Italian, Chicago, Detroit, or a big chain like Papa John’s. If you know the style going in and set your expectations accordingly, this place absolutely delivers.

I ordered a large pepperoni pizza from Gitto’s Pizza, and it came with garlic knots. The price was very affordable, especially considering the size and amount of food — the slices were huge! The pizza was hot and fresh, with just the right amount of cheese and pepperoni. The garlic knots were soft, flavorful, and a nice bonus with the order. Delivery was right on time, no delays at all. Overall, great value and tasty food. I’ll definitely be ordering from here again!

We stop by here with the whole family after hanging out at the Orlando science, center with the kids, and thankfully parking wasn’t too bad downtown that day. Upon entering the staff were very friendly and responsive, and immediately greeted us and helped us out. Our food is prepared quickly, and looked great. we each got a gigantic slice of pizza, and we also tried the Jamaican beef, patty and pizza and mozzarella stuffed things. We all enjoyed our food, and felt like the venue was really cool looking inside. They also have a bar. Overall, we felt like if you are in the downtown area and are looking for pizza, this would be a good choice.

Definitely recommend everyone to stop here. This has always been my favorite (by the slice) pizza place downtown for years!! I love the atmosphere and the food is always amazing. The employees are fun and polite. I love the new mini bar addition upstairs.. and writing on the brick wall in the seating area has always been a thing for me. This was me and my husband's first date.. and the first place went to eat after getting married. Hope to never see Gitto's pizza close. I would be heartbroken. LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

My wife and I needed a quick bite close to the Dr Phillips Center and this place was the perfect spot. Employees were friendly, pizza was great (I had the Bianca and wife had the margarita), and plenty of seating up stairs.

Don’t go downtown very often, but would definitely stop by for a slice again.

This is my favorite pizza place in downtown Orlando. Every time I’m visiting downtown, I stop here. It has been consistently great every time. The second floor (though it has been changed a few times) is still such a cool place to sit and eat your slice at. The prices are great, and you get a garlic knot with every slice you get. Highly recommend to anyone coming to downtown Orlando.
